Dr. Juanita Karpf is an author, researcher and editor with expertise in music history, biography, and women’s studies. Her articles have appeared in numerous academic journals and she has contributed entries and chapters to a number of collections and reference works. She completed masters and doctoral degrees in music history and performance at the University of Georgia. After graduate work, she taught music history and women’s studies at Case Western Reserve University, Middlebury College, Oberlin College, and the University of Georgia. Additionally, she has been a cellist, performing widely in orchestras and chamber ensembles.
